What is Expedition Nordkapp and where are our motives coming from?

I am interested in extremely low consumption driving. My hobby and my experiences of economy driving during Škoda EconomyRun inspired me to organize great project. The Ford car factory made commercial Real World Challenges few months ago. I was impressed by video clip about the trip from Roma to Edinburgh (about 2800 km). In my opinion it is not heroic attempt because of that car had diesel engine with capacity 1.6 l and fuel tank with 70 l. That is inspiration to do much more impressive result.

I took test of my economy driving skills during private drives (20-30 % in Prague in the rush hours) with 11 years old car Mazda 626 – engine capacity 2.0 DiTD, that had more than 250 000 km mileage and 6 l less in fuel tank. I drove with much worse condition and I did 1396 km with full fuel tank. It was my springboard to improve my economy driving skill.

The choice of the northernmost Europe point brings new challenges: summer weather in central Europe at the beginning and few degrees above in the end of our journey. The trip from Prague (hearth of Europe) to northernmost part of Europe with 100 litres of fuel and without ferry use could be amazing show.

Do you think that is it possible, that we will achieve the stated goal?
